Land of Never-ending Summers

Standing still
Foggy surroundings
Reaching out
Hands feeling around
Resting on none

In search
Of a goal
I can't see
Where should I go?
Aimless and desperate

Praying for light
To pull me out
Darkness drains from me
Strength, hopes and dreams
Soon I will drown

Save me!

I was going to, you know, quote one section.. as we sometimes do.. but darned if I could find one I loved more than the whole thing...

You've really put those emotions out there clearly.. if you need light.. I'll hand you a candle.. if you need a rope to help you climb out.. I'll hold you anchor.. if you need a hand.. I'm right here.

We stand on solid ground,
treading water,
till we drown.

Your poem got me thinking.
Not many poems do that
well done

Thanks everyone...
Yeah, maybe I do need some cute hunky Baywatch guy to rescue me from the waters, or maybe some highpower torchlight to get me out of the fog. But I'm just happy to be able to write about it, and post it here. I'll thank you for even just reading it, and not replying...

THANKS!
