Listening to every heart

Penmanship

Like a deep blue sea’s growth of sponge
This blank page allows me expunge
A purge of words to follow through
An inkling of scripts’ black purview

Have you e’er seen my penmanship?
A bit of lilt toward sight’s worship
Of quill and ink, and parchment white
And scented oh so very light…

That a computer might just see
That hint of slight calligraphy
A wending of a desire sought
To rent one’s heart as it was taught

A gift received of ribbon, pen
For script well written, age of ten

(smiles) Sooooooo beautifully penned, sweet friend, your quill always sings with sunshine and envelopes passions into poetic excellence! (kiss on cheek) I love it, sweet friend, this is such a fabulous sonnet! We all love you so much, sweet friend! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing!

Karilea, Very nicely done and I would give you an A+.  I used to have lovely penmanship...'bc' before computer, when letter writing via snail mail was still quite the thing.  Now I try to sign my name to a check or card and even I can't read it!
Loved this one!

I have to agree with Nancy, but then, mine wasn't too sharp to start with and I shudder at it now...very nicely done, Sis..very gentle smile

Right on!  Computers have robbed us of the subtle clues to another person in the subtle examination of the written word.

Thank God for computers. I write like a doctor. But you write beautifully!
