Passion’s Court Conviction (Tribute to Sunshine)
By Larry Chadwick

I’ve been doing an investigation,
Just a little snooping around.
Thought you should know,
What it is I have found.

We have a poet in our midst,
I’m taking to Passion’s court.
And this is the gist,
Of what I’ll report.

She takes advantage,
Of those who are new.
Sending sweet emails,
Is what she’ll do.

She did to me,
That’s how I found out.
And as time has gone by,
She’s doing it to others, there ain’t no doubt.

She has nothing to prove,
Just trying to be nice.
Though it takes some effort,
She doesn’t think twice.

So to Passion’s court she goes,
I’m sure we’ll convict.
Sunshine is too nice,
Will be the edict.

Only been here a short time, so I'll take the stand and testify that the evidence is overwhelming.

Nice of you to notice yourself Larry.  Better watch it or you'll end up on trial yourself.

Canuckster,
Thanks. The question is: Will there be enough evidence to convict? One can only hope!

Well isn't this a nice surprise?  And did you know, the legal field is where you will find me M-F and on the weekends if gearing up for trial!?  I'll bet you didn't know you were SO on top of the charges!

This provided my Sunday Smile Larry...thanks SO much for the compliments...

and as for being nice?  It's being nasty that's extremely difficult....

Sunshine,
I used to work as a Juvenile Probation Officer and then in family court as a Child Protective Service worker. So court things are in my past and come kind of natural.

As to all the rest...it is well deserved and I should have figured it out a long time ago. But I did give you fair warning in my email! Bless you.

Noah,
Lawyers it is then!   Thanks for the laugh.

Karen,
And ain't that the truth? It's always good to have an expert witness.

sodpossom,
Thanks for noticing.

Kacy,
So, do you think it will be a fair trial? Sounds like a lot of prejudice in this place! LOL

Larry, you got her dead to rights.  She did the same thing to me.  I think all the nice people of world should be locked up.  We then could have more strife and war in this world, and what a wonderful world that would be.lol   Nice writing.

A very sweet poem, Larry...I, too...was one of her "victims".  Will it be a class action suit?

Dave,
See now...I had a whole different sentence in mind! Very funny. LOL

Martie,
So the verdict is coming in.

Bill,
Thanks. Glad you found it too.

Lyra,
Oooh, class action! How come I didn't think of that. You arrived just in time. LOL
