On A Journey To The Unknown

0 posted 2002-01-13 10:07 AM

When someone is told all their life
That they are never good enough
Or there is always something wrong
With everything they attempt to do
It is really hard for that person
To even want to continue trying

Even after he/she is all grown
Living out on his/her own, alone
All those words echoing everyday
He/she may live his/her life with
Feeling like it is useless to even try
Living with feelings of worthlessness

Somewhere along the way, he/she
Feels as if there's a reason to try
Otherwise he/she feel hopeless
Remembering all the things said
When she tried to succeed before
In accomplishing just one thing

Hon, if  this happened to you
well, it happened to me.  IT still haunts.

Understand this completely.  Very forthright and powerful.  The power of words ... positive or negative .... is amazng.

If this voice is your own or close to it, let me just tell you that things can change.  It's slow and painful at times, but they can change.  You can find those voices arround you and you can train that voice that you carry around inside you to begin to echo the positive even if the negative has been overwhelming in the past.

Hang in there and keep writing.  The writing is cathartic and healing.

Hey, SmartChick:

You're Wonderful

To Hell with what was said
Good made you SWELL, I read
And all your life's ahead
Don't die until your dead.

God loves YOU; I DO, TOO!
Because He made you, TRUE
So come! Rejoice, NOT BLUE
Be just like GOD MADE YOU.
You're WONDERFUL. And I AM TOO!

(smiles) Soooooooo sad but well-said, sweet friend, my words echo Canuckster's; look deep down into your past and at first learn from your sorrows and tears, then become thankful and blessed by the new strength and love you have gained from it all and use these voices as a weapon...love...to fill your days with sunshine and hope as you take that next bold step! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is wonderful! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Oh my gosh do I ever know this feeling...up until about 3 years ago I lived with it every day of my life. Since I started writing I have begun little by little to look at myself through my own eyes and not someone elses. Keep writing, dear one. Your words show the incredible worth that you are...**big big hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.
