---Night Friend--- As the mellow glow of twilight shimmers like a jeweled crown I'm immersed in all its glory as I watch the sun go down. Shadows gather gently and hush the waning light a stillness fills my heart with peace while stars befriend the night. The moon appears in softest splendor serenely smiles its mystic charm the velvet sky bends even lower as though to welcome with open arms. Drifting gently into dreams with moonbeams hov'ring near the Keeper of the moon and stars relieves my soul of fear. (fran.12/01) |
