Silhouettes

Two silhouettes on golden beach,
lovers softly embrace
Far away but they can still reach
with words, their hearts, will trace

Two made one under setting sun,
passion over the miles
Eternal love that's just begun
lit by intimate smiles

Cool winds caress their burning flesh
flushed by their unquenched fires
Drinking of love's wine to refresh
and fulfill deep desires

Silhouettes upon dreamer's beach
together in the night
With yearning arms to hold, they reach,
until the morning light

Karen,
you make me envisage moonlit nights and sandy shore...and it's all good even when I am not a beach person.
Kethry.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
