Listening to every heart

0 posted 2002-01-11 11:37 PM

Dry

A parched dream
Is but a view
Overlooking grasses
Stiffening in
This Kansas wind

But like a slip
Of wind, a love
Might creep in,
Holding on tenaciously
For the
Love of land,
Roping a
Whim of hope,
Whetting a whistle
With wet wonder

Parched stiffness
Softens,
Accepts life
Fills the pond
To mirror life
Again

One knows it to
Be true, after
Seasons of arid
Feel the scattered
Whisper of raindrops,
Lending hugging,
Husky voice to
Tree frogs
Once again

Listen…

Discover the ringing….

Grasses singing…

(smiles) Ooohhhhhhh...I can hear the frogs croaking in the spring rain of this lovely vision, it's so wonderful how life can change around so fast and promise us the showers to the parched dreams of our yesteryears and nurture it with love for the next blessings harvest! (kiss on cheek) I love it, you always express yourself so fabulously! We all love you so much, sweet friend! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

your poem illustrates the wonder of life's rebirth.I am never distraught by these simple joys and the cycles in which they occur.

I love this poem...magnificent. Your description of effects of rain..."parched stiffness softens, accepts life, fills the pond to mirror life again"...is so good. I just love the poems I'm reading in the forums. WOW! Great poetry.

I live on the Prairies too and though at first I did not like the barren land here I have come to see that it is only barren to the eyes that cannot see. Wonderful poem. I love it. **big hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.
