Our Mud Room

Welcome to our mud room
our tater,
yes, our spud room
our coats and dirty duds room
oh won’t you come on in.

It’s where we put galoshes
and trousers full of sloshes;
it’s where we do our washes
and nibble up our gnoshes,
while auntie sits and spins.

You’ll find you’re very welcome
and know you are a real chum
when we will let you see scum
or ev’ry kind of bread crumb,
and where we keep our gin.
Grin.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

I don't here much talk of mud rooms--but we
have one too at our place. My wife though it would be neat(What irony) to decorated it with a collection of Pigs--I wonder where she got that Idea?  She's also got a sign by the back door (entrance to the Mud Room) which says:"Welcome to our Pig Pen.  It's not always this bad---sometimes it's worse."
Enjoyed your Mud Room Humor!
