I touch my lips in wonder--
whatever can I say to you?
In the absence of your presence
a lack of air shows blood true blue.

Touch my thigh in sheer delight
legs in cross of of lace-up boot...
I have to look away from eyes--
so much of you I see in you.

Constant licking
of my lips
constant camel
searching sip--
oasis in this arid land--
oases of eyes understand...

I have beheld your scent before-
many times--I still want more...
I wish for olive grove of sup--
I wish that I could wish enough.

I wish for dances in the sand.
I wish for trek of caravan,
silken tents to be our home
starlight sprinkles in the dome
just as the sky bends down to me
Just as the salt adds taste to sea
even as the wind kicks dust
turbulent unbridled lust
to drink as much as I can stand
and face again the trek of sand.

Serenity - There's nothing worse than that embarrassing dryness, is there?  *innocent eyes*  Nicely written poem.

serenity - just lovely, as you always do. Wanting, haunting, some of what I read. The best to you...

=====================================================

I just went and changed my signature to match my mood....and then come find this...
WE are too funny .... oh those mirrors.....
and OH this poem....what a gem of pen this is....
the metaphor is played out to poetic perfection....as is the imagery...
then add in your ache set to rhyme and I am sated in my craving...
well my poetic one anyway....
that dont count other cravings   ... poets....pizza boys..rock stars.... ROFL...
kiss kiss me twin of Constant Crave.............

Even thru the darkest phase, be it thick or thin
Always someone marches brave, here beneath my skin
Constant Craving ... has always been.
