I remember when i first met you
i was with my girlfriend
you got into her car
into the backseat
we were at a drive-in
you know like the one
in American Graffiti

You said "It smells nice in here"
and just kiddingly i said,

"I think it must be because i am here"

You said i was conceited and got out.

The next night i was sitting inside
  the Chuck Wagon,
having a coke with Viola.

I didnt know you had arranged with her
to bring me back again.

You pulled up and waved and we got in your car
she got out right away...and you pulled away with me.
I realized we had not even been introduced..

I remember you had a tiger in your tank..
The tank of your blue Pontiac..
the tail whipping in the wind

We ended up parking at Hagley museum
where you tried to get fresh with me..
by the lake, alone in the moonlight.

I said "No"..and you said "Why not"?
and i said "Because i said so"

I wonder if you remember
the night you said you loved me
well, i just couldnt say i love you back
even though i might have loved you
in my own way..a little bit
i just didnt want to hurt you
i knew you werent the one..
but i still have that memory
of you loving me
a high school memory, the way it use to be..

"To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides."

(kiss on cheek) Soooooooo beautiful, sweet friend, this is such a precious memory! May you always hold onto these happy memories, for they are forever! (smiles) This makes me wish my high school sweetheart was in the same class as me right now and we can go on a date like this and have some wild cherry Pepsis! (kiss on cheek) I love it, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Victoria, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

a nice one, ~V..I don't have quite the memories you have, I was with the one I loved from start to finish for 31 years...never having the joy of other experiences.
