(First two lines from “Taking Liberties Of Kindness”)
As the child of the street
Continues the journey
She will remember her teacher
Who was so hard on her
That they cried within
Why did he abandon me

But the truth was already known within
For she was on her own path
And he was just a guide
Staying just long enough to not interfere
Instilling added thoughts to those already there

But why could you not be my crutches
And let me lean on you
Then she remembers something said
That a tree can have a guiding stick
But soon it must be removed
For it to grow on its own way
To create branches extending in freedom
So teacher of the moment
I finally understand

Why did you not teach me more
Then you remember the pain in his eyes
When you used him as a pawn
To get the things you did not have
So you drained him blind
And in that darkness within him
He commanded respect
And showed the door

Sorry you may now feel
The door is still closed tight
His eyes having gained light
And will never look your way again
Or will they
That is the horror that was left in you
For your teacher is not there to ask

On your journey of self respect
You gain ground
And fertilize others in a special way
In the hardness that commands respect
For that teacher that started you up
A ladder so tall
That the sight is now clear

Your answer comes one day
From a name you do not remember
Of a of the child of the street
Who was on her journey
In a poem on the Internet of love
As you cry your waterfall
You state teacher I found you

(big hugggssssssss) Soooooo well-explained, sweet friend, we all grow up like a tree, staked with support by our loved ones, then we grow, capable with the power of love in standing on our own and being burtured by the love of another, like the rain that falls and makes life bloom and bud with joy on a tress branches! (sigh) We all will learn from one another, and as we grow, our golden hearts do too! God Bless You, sweet friend, your words are always so edifying and wonderful! We all love you so much, sweet friend! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lester, thank you for sharing!

May love and light alway sshine upon you!

Love,
