Confession

Although Randy offers candy
He is of late slightly bandy.
A little shorter in his height
And glasses help him with his sight.

His weight has turned a little paunchy
Though he remains just as raunchy
His woo is better than his do
That I’m afraid is very true.

He moves more often in the sun
But never says why this is done
He sits more often than he stands
Though his mind more chaos than bland

He talks and dreams like he’s eighteen
In innuendos wintergreen
But knows in fact he’s old in time
Or should I say out lived his chime

But never are our minds convinced
That we are not princess or prince

Never are our minds convinced indeed, for it it were so we would look in the mirror and fade away.
Warm randy write here! *HuGS*

So Sun shall shine on Randy and thee
in hopes of offering harmony
a bit of shine on aged domain
and then sing a bit of that refrain

for with the princess and the prince
I am ever more convinced
that reality has its place, all right,
but dreams are good for our respite...

So says Sun

How true!

Light verse serves this topic well and you handle this well giving humor and down to earth truth in a very well crafted marriage.

Good job, sir!

*giggling* you always bring a smile with your words...mmmmmm I confess.....I truly am a princess (NOT) *giggling* and I wouldn't want to be young again for anything...it is hard enough to be single now a days without all the heartache that youth goes through. **big hugs** thanks for the morning giggle.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

In your witty and wise confession
you speak of a natural progression
perhaps hes got a touch of depression
or a bit of a flu bug's obessesion

He will regain his Randy expression
His flame burns with inspiration's discretions
He'll not retire to age's concessions
He will retain his Dandy possession

Let there remain no lingering question ...
This Dragon will leave a lasting impression

*winkiewinkie

So Randy is feeling old is he???

By all these replies it looks like his lips are working just fine  ROFL

Hmmmm .... I got just the thing for Randy ...
I'll be back

Very nicely written poem, Sy...but I haven't been here all that long, and so I am a bit ignorant...but may I ask please, who is Randy?

Now I understand it, Sy...
Thanks, JM for the link...and that was an absolutely awe inspiring poem about your personal dragon, Sy.
