today
you were the sky
nude blue
wearing clouds
over shy places

you danced for me
for a moment
when the sun
was taking a nap
and didn't hear the music

you let the clouds move
just for me
when I didn't
expect it
and wasn't ready

I will return tomorrow
and whisper poems
to the sun
til he grows weary
and rests his eyes

I will be the earth
laying on my back
waiting for your song
will you
dance again for me?

I like your style

Short terse lines packed with imagery and emotion. Very good use of form and words. A fine poem.
