Beneath the sultry eyes of the moon
is a misty veil of seduction
arousing like a bellydancer

Within the navel of a black opal night
is a glittering star shining bright
sensuously rolling like the Persian tides

Fuchsia winds gracefully dance
with a slithering serpent of stars
as they move slowly
across slender limbs of a gypsy moon

Can you hear the finger cymbals
within the tempo of the night?
accompanying rotating hips
within cobweb scarves of moonlight

"To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides."
~ David Viscott

Oooohhhhhh...I love the surreal portraits you create, serpents, Persian tides, it's all such a magical carpet ride of love! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is sooooooo heavenly! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Victoria, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

What a good way to use a belly dancer as a metaphore.  Clever and a fun read.
