I sit here and wonder what you do
After we have an argument...
After we have a fight
We don't call one another...
Because we have too much pride to make the first move
My insides burn with anger...
My anger tries to erase each morsel of emotion I have for you
I would hate myself if I lost you...
I would feel defeated if I call you
But I love you!

Poetry is spiritual ventilation!

Then set your pride aside and call....Love has to overcome things like pride for it to grow...saying I love you and I am sorry we are fighting goes a long way to healing any arguement. Love is worth the price of giving up our pride. **big hugs** good luck.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Hey Girlie,

I have felt this way many times. I'm kind of stubborn. If I know that it wasn't me at fault then I won't apologize. However, if you really love this guy, give him a call, you'll be glad you did.

Been there, done that....many times. My mother had an interesting thing to say about exactly this (and she said it to me often, not that I ever listened mind you!!). She would say "you can choke on pride". She was absolutely right...I admit to having choked on it more than a few times. Interesting write.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
