And with the rising of the sun
for once I felt my heart had won
I felt you stir and softly sway
We welcomed warm, this bright new day

Opal haze shined from your silk eyes
Your warm sigh took me by surprise
Kissing chiffon lips where you lay
Smile, love, it’s a brand new day

Dreams blend into reality
As you softly, reach out to me
Blushing to your velvet caress
To your gentle touch I confess

As the sun rises we will dance,
in this, our 'dream come true' romance

Susan/Noah - Really enjoyed this passion filled write.  The last line was definitely my favorite.  Well done.

I like this.  The quatrameter is effective.  The meter feels a little sporadic for a stated sonnet, but as the subject is passionate love, it seems to work and reinforce the emotional quality rather than the alternative which might be more consistent metrically, but would probably lose that quality.

Critique aside I enjoyed the read and caught the passion, which means it worked.

Noah and the Sea just seem to be a match made in heaven.
I'm heavy on the covet after reading this, so hopefully the Lord will forgive my transgression. Beautiful collaboration.

Ya'll make this seem so easy!  I've been trying to write a sonnet and it just isn't happening.  Great poem!

Noah you were made to be close to (the) SEA, there is nothing wooden in this write, you two are quite the matched pair.
