The heart of you

0 posted 2002-01-10 04:33 PM

My heart is there in warmth of yours,
As love comes in through open doors.
Comes through doors and finds a home,
No longer are we all alone.

As love joins hearts that once were lost
On seas of life and tempest tossed,
We see again that love knows why
There's always one that hears our cry.

So now as we are joined in love
With songs of angels up above.
Our hearts no longer split by miles,
I watch you walk now down the aisle.
For truest love you now did find.
Your heart is here in warmth of mine.

What light through yon window breaks?  It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.

This is so romantic. Shakespeare couldn't have made Romeo himself sound better!

Oh yeah..You can smack me now, Dearest. I missed this one somehow! Or at least, missed replying to it. Can you forgive me?

This is so sweet. Perhaps a poem you'll hope to be thinking of one day when that great love comes down your aisle?

Lovely

There could be nothing better than two joined hearts, Romeo.
This is wonderful!

Siofra, yes, someday I hope.  And I forgive you.

Amusemi, Dulcinea, Greeneyes, Temptress and Dark Angel, thank you ladies, the stars are all I have to share, and one moon to join them.

Thank you.
