  Puppeteer Extraordinaire

A puppeteer extraordinaire.
Manipulating strings of share
An arrogance in willful wage

Turns my head and bends' my back,
A dancing puppet on a rack.
Capricious is her playful gage.

Unbeknown I side with her.
This upside down utopia.
No need the puppet on a stage.

She pulls the strings skillfully
Almost always convincing me.
No matter what the outrage still

I cannot understand her zeal
Or the unction of her anneal.

Very well done, Seymour.  I remember your writings from when I was here before, and that I always enjoyed them.

Only you could come up with a line like this:

"Or the unction of her anneal."

your comand of vocabulary is a impressive as your command of rhyme and verse.
Love the style of this one ... ya even snuck in an alliteration with your internal rhyme.
and as for those strings..methinks Randy can chew thru them with ease...should he wish to
very cool poem Stinkylove
*ww* me

I ask why you come here, you say just because
Could I live without it if I knew what it was
But it really dont matter when you look at me that way.

Beautifully written, Sy....and in answer to Floria, I disagree...not everyone gets their strings pulled.....I don't...but I try to be the one who is pulling the strings of others.

My strings were pulled by others, dear
who did not allow me my morning cheer
I saw in wonder with near dismay
this which almost...got away!

[Almost, but not quite!]

Sy,
I volunteered to be a puppet once,
But the tension was not right.
It hurt so bad I cut the strings,
And that's when I took flight!

Sy,
you are a puppeteer, pulling our strings with extraordinary flair, whether far or near making us dance in the write of your air
Keth.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
