This is a poem about a battered child that learned how to love. (However,  The "child" is not physically a child----emotionally,  yes)

A battered tortured child
Whose pain is very deep.
A baby with a battered heart-----
Is tormented while she sleeps.
Those who care---cannot be found
To offer the love she needs,
Her body and soul so badly abused,
She lies in wait,
While her heart bleeds.
She cannot seek out comfort
From any human being,
When those that are supposed to love her----
Are the ones to make her scream.
She struggles to survive in life,
Has no one to show her the way,
Can any one person make a difference?
YES!!
I found that woman,  today.
Her heart is filled with beauty.
Her soul with pure, sweet love.
She's a woman with great nature,
An angel,  from above.
She's given so much to this child---
More than she'll ever know,
The love she has to offer,
Has helped this "child" to grow.
This child, no longer a child,
But a woman fully grown.
Her heart no longer fearful,
From the love this angel has shown.
This battered beaten child
Has learned to share her light,
The angel of great beauty,
Gave this child second sight.
You see----
It only takes one person
To readily impart
That goodness really does exist---
It's found inside your heart.
I have one of these angels,
One of my very own.
She gave me all the love I need
When she made her heart----my home.
I will always be very greatful
To this angel from above.
She's given me her friendship,
I've given her my love.
May our souls be united together,
And never grow apart
This angel of great beauty
Lives forever in my heart.
This poem was written to my angel Jane.  The most amazing person I have ever met in my entire life. She truly is an angel.  She has taught me the meaning of unconditional love.

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Lisann, God Bless You and her, this is soooooooo touching, I cried reading this poem not only to feel the pain she experienced but also in joy to feel her now becoming the true angel of pure love! (sad sigh) I too was abused physically as a child, and it has saddened all my memories, but yet I feel I have gained something from it, that now I am sensitive and can reach out to others with unconditional love, and I am proud of that for one! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You and Jane, sweet friends, we all love you both so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lisann, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
