Missing rwood
By Larry Chadwick

rwood has been gone so long,
That my well is finally full.
No cold showers for me,
It has been pretty dull.

I certainly miss her tons,
It must be she’s too busy.
Sure has been a while,
Since she made me dizzy.

I know she works long days,
And probably has no time.
Still miss that silent pen,
Though her words don’t rhyme.

I know you are a daddy’s girl,
And I can live with this.
But when your gone so long,
It’s you I really miss.

Ah, but a friend is just a pen away

A thought
A notice of something
not quite the same

Glancing forward
looking back
Puzzling
into the distance

How we all change
when touched
by someone
that bears a poetic soul

Not missing
Just fitting in
to life
and feeling
quite lovely

Knowing you are still
a part of my heart picture

Always close by when some great guy is around.

Hug/kiss
Reg

Reg,
You help patch up this tattered soul. I'll always appreciate that about you. Thanks dear sweet friend. hugs/kisses back

And thanks for the read.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Thanks for the read! And guilty as charged!
