“A BIRD CAME BY”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
When I opened my eyes this morning,
the sun was shining, in the window…
A bird stopped by, started to sing,
softly taking my heart, to borrow…
Sang of my thoughts, how did it know,
what was on my mind, that day…
But there was this bird, just singing,
I listened closely, before it flew away…
My heart was taken, when it left,
like you did, when you departed…
But now another came to sing,
softly for me, the brokenhearted…
Ok, I'm buying a new birdfeeder tomorrow.  I miss those birds!
Enjoyed this one, Bill.
Hi Bill,
Love those birds. I live in a condo in Florida and a little bird sings to me loudly every morning. Waking up just wouldn't be the same without him (or her) Thanks for the thought.
(smiles) Sooooooo beautiful, sweet friend, I love birds, and every time I spot a hummingbird or robin or sparrow or any bird on my bird feeder, I always giggle in delight and am so happy by the majestic sight God gives us all! (big hugggsssss) I love it, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bill, thank you for sharing!
May love and light always shine upon you!
I like this very much, Bill... sometimes, it just takes a long time before we can hear another song as anything but noise. *S* Well written!
*sigh* I hope you will hear the sweet song of a love bird soon and that it's music will heal the pain of the past. So sad...My heart goes out to you. **big hugs**
Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.
