As the droplets drift down window pane
my memories swirl to a dance in the rain
Your laughing voice with flashing eyes
with slippery tiles we made our tries

The place was closed, but we bribed to dance
in the misty rain which came by chance
An old man smiled as he turned on the tune
thinking we were as crazy as a loon

Sweet sounds surrounded as we moved
the old man nodded in silent approve
River mist did cloak, in silvery embrace
as I kissed the water from your face

Finally we moved to our own heard song
kisses on the wind, were carried along
That night we danced in the rain
to the tune of our own tender refrain

What a song, and such a dance
lending one to thought's romance
a tender tune upon the air
a bit of wisp in hand-held care

Need I tell you, this is lovely?

So romantic! And any poem with a loon in it inspires magical dreamy thoughts in me. Thank you for this, it flows so smoothly.

Oh, how I love the rain.  Thank you for this beautiful reminder of it...warm rain is
better though, cold rain well, warm is better!

Hello Logan
How very nice to see you again. Your words danced in front of my eyes as I was swept away with the magic of the moment.  Your words spoke true love and displayed such a stunning picture of two people very much in love.  I enjoyed this immensely and I'm about to read it again!
Take care my friend........Sue
