Fragile Orb

It begins with all by water’s fall
A liquid stream begins the dream
A bit of soap slid here and there
A fragile beginning of non-compare

Little bubbles by gravity’s pull
Leaving behind larger bubbles full
Of iridescent, glorious bows
Sheer rain’s delight as everyone knows

My arm would lend a curve to bend
Bubbles silk in delighted tend
Is this where only bubbles grow?
I think you realize the answer: no!

Bubbles grow from bits of gum
And chewing begins all the fun
Lips pursed close, such as this
Pretending but a delightful kiss

Then blow a bit as soon to find
Comedic magic in all mankind
A childish act, a winsome sight
Then a burst of cherry delight

Then the hold of plastic pipe
Brings forth bubbles’ iridescent stripe
A summer day, a childhood giggle,
Bubbles fly while bodies wiggle

But for me? Simple bubble’s silken feel
Shimmers rainbows in A.M.’s real
In showers follows where fingers stray,
Allowing me a moment’s play.

intriguing look into a feeling we all love....a clean feeling.

Kari darling sister of my soul this is sooooooooo truly YOU. A rainbow of delight scattering light with playful and sensuality.

I love it into my library with you darling girl. Now go and blow some more bubbles. You do recall I suppose that one of my nicknames is Bubbles, for obvious reasons darling delight. No one enjoys bubbling quite as much as me

Utterly utterly fabulous writing as always

Karilea - Nice ode to the glorious bubble.  Very good.

By the way, if you have time, I put together a revised stanza for that Aching poem.  I posted it in a reply. Let me know what you think.

Thanks

in a word:  Deee-lightful!
and what a wonderful metaphor of his fragile things of beauty
and how fleeting are the times of relaxation and play.

Great stuff written playfully.  tSR
