Hearts of Midnight

Souls search, in need to find
Heaven's one time light.
Bound by all that it holds,
the hearts of midnight.

Surrounded in darkness,
a devoted sight.
Entwined within it's folds
live hearts of midnight.

Love, in hope and despair
surviving their plight,
to be free from fear holds
cry hearts of midnight.

Timeless, vast as can be
hearts of midnight free.

In words of beautiful rhythm and flow, a feeling of loss and pain comes through this one, Craig. But I really liked this line:
"Bound by all that it holds,
the hearts of midnight."
