Well, twiddly dum, twiddly dee
I think Elvis has a crush on me
He’s here every morning when I open the store
He’s still here at night when I lock the door
He stares through the window
as if he’s in a daze
I thought I saw him wink at me
as I applied the glaze
I’m pretty sure he likes me
He’s dropping subtle clues
Yesterday I noticed
He wore his blue suede shoes
I hate to break his heart
If you know what I mean
But I’m in love with Luther
My boss at Krispy Kreme
Besides Elvis has really gained weight
Especially around his belly
Maybe he’d be just as happy
if I give him doughnuts filled with jelly.

Noah, You're so sweet and complimentary. Thanks for reading this. It's the least I could do on Elvis' birthday. Glad you enjoyed. Cheryl

Lyra, this site is too much fun. I posted this last year at Moontown and it didn't get too much attention but I figured, "what the heck, it's the King's birthday." Glad you liked it. Cheryl
