I Married Both

I swore an oath and married both
Two brides in one my very oath
Monogamy’s polygamy

And one of them is dreamy eyed
And one of them pure cyanide
Monogamy’s polygamy

A dilemma of the ages
Male and female separate stages
Monogamy’s polygamy

Within us both lays Shangri-la
A ghostly phantom Alcazar
Monogamy’s polygamy

And heaven stays both near and far
Unless they play as one guitar
Monogamy’s polygamy

Seymour,
perhaps they were siamese twins and you couldn't separate them, whatever the rationale I liked your philosophy. I don't know about the guitar... but who played second fiddle.

why sure, we all  have other parts!  Most men don't
really know what they are getting into when they
get married!!  Enjoyed this one.

(giggles) Soooooo well said, sweet friend, I too agree with Kathleen; marriage has many suprises and responsibilities and it can be a huge suprise what can happen. (smiles) I love it, sweet friend, your words are always so fun to read, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

I think you speak the truth here, Sy...for all of us.
Everything has two sides, a good one and a bad one.
Well done!

Babes ...
You pluck my strings
on bridge yet met
Of my own a'Chord
... I'll not fret~
We'll play in tune
till rise of moon
And then you can strum me home~

YOU POET YOU ... YOU do this sooooooo nicely~

I married seven hundred
as my kingdom thundered
and my palace was a beautiful site.

I was bathed and adored
as more love I explored
whenever I could, every night.

just some thoughts about King Solomon...

If your beau don't mind I love plucking your strings.
