Howling Winds

At the windows, can you hear it howling
I snuggle closer within your embrace
Afraid of what this night might have out prowling
I feel pressure as my heart starts to race

Fear shines in my eyes as I gaze at you
An unknown evil that howling winds bring
Your tender touch will my shivers subdue
With passionate kiss my heart starts to sing

Cocooned within the strength of loving arms
Silenced are all the fears that froze my heart
I’m lost in the desire of manly charms
While howling winds commanded to depart

Such warmth fills this room as lovers entwine
A soft melody nature is playing
As human sighs and howling winds combine
We move in timeless dance for two, swaying

I loved your poem...

Howling Winds (His Story)
*~*
Calm love, there is no need for worry,
The wind is only a malace,
A malace my arms will defeat,
Come close and I will envelope you,

Envelope you tonight even through this withering chill,
Our hearts will beat as one,
As your soft soul bends into mine,

Tonight the howling winds will cease,
And I will hold you, I will love you,
Kiss you soft and make the fear subside,
For there is no howl over the sound of our love

Startime,
howling winds and enclosing arms...the only thing missing is the log fire. Perfect cosy picture you painted.

Karen, this is fantastic! BRAVO!
The poem howls with passion and love. And Ocelot's reply! Wow. Put these two together in a duet, howling and hugging, love protecting against fear.  Into my library, replies and all.

Oh so beautifully romantic, Karen.  My favorite for romance is during a storm.
