Where Am I?

There is a an extraordinary place
unfamiliar to many,
when chance allows, I visit;
a garden alive with colors felt rather than seen,
hues beyond childhood kaleidoscopes,
where auroras curiously
blend with enigmatic shades
of obsidian.

Unlike the pragmatic world,
it can only be viewed
viscerally.

Others make this journey too,
in smoky wisps of linking thought,
touching one another
with abstract fingers,
each with their own imprint
pressed into tidal sands,
leaving behind gifts of rapture.

Corinne~
I have a place ... a special place
that sounds 'almost' as lovely as the place you've written~

I retreat to the meadow ...
and languish in the serene beauty there~

This is just perfect to me, gal~
Ya' done real good ... ~
