I see more clearly
Than once I could
Understand more
Than once I did
Going away sometimes
Puts things into
Perspective

And should you delve
Into the sparse
And uncreative journals
Of my soul, fret not
At what you see unwritten,
For sometimes what is
Foremost and of utmost
Importance is in the white
Space of what is omitted.

The past is the past.
Let us not retrace our
Steps. Going back
Is never an option,lest
We lose the richness
And education of our
Experience.
Let us remember
What not to do
Next time.

Forgiveness is greatest
When it is hardest...
But it is not our place
To judge, and so dropping
The weight of a grudge
Is akin to dropping
Boulders from our backs.

I will offer my hand
In friendship.
Let us begin with words,
For in silence,
Much is lost, and there
Remain too many precious
Moments: Many tales untold,
Many songs unsung, many
Expressions of emotions
Stifled and wonders
Of the world unlearned.

Let us not omit.

I liked this very much.  It had such a wise aroma about it and a morality that made me keep on.  Though it was long, it was very good.  More of these please.

I enjoyed the whole poem.  These lines hold so much truth.

"The past is the past.
Let us not retrace our
Steps. Going back
Is never an option,lest
We lose the richness
And education of our
Experience."

"Forgiveness is greatest
When it is hardest...
But it is not our place
To judge, and so dropping
The weight of a grudge
Is akin to dropping
Boulders from our backs"

You are very correct there.  It isn't always all about what we do, it's about what we do not do.  And as we mature we may notice this, and come to be better and more productive people to our sociey.  Outstanding write, I loved it
