Transcendental Time

My butterfly still sheds a tear
And never will it disappear.
It is adorn a symbol born
To mourn a heart that has been torn

It came in flight in passions light
A poet passing in the night
That sewed to her some wings of blue
And smothered her in colors hue.

And now she cries to stay a goal
To hold him safe within her soul
And searches with the aid of rhyme
To touch once more this poets time

She comes to rest all poets flower
To sip the nectar of their power
To drink in transcendental rhyme
To touch once more now ghostly time

But he is there and I am here
And if I could I’d dry her tear.

oh Sy ... my precious, dear sweet, Sy ...
do you know how deeply this touches me ... this is so beautiful.
you've turned my world (and library) in to Eden and filled it with butterflies with all your poetic bouquets ... each one is treasured, as are you.
Thank you always seems too little to say for your kind intend and gifts of poetry.
As for that closing couplet ... dont ever doubt that you do ...
thank you for that too my Stinkylove.

Finally...a cup of coffee and my morning seymour too! And I see Jan! I take it all as a good omen! And methinks that you have dried more than a few butterfly tears!

You are a poet's poet, Sy...
This was so very romantic.

It came in flight in passions light
A poet passing in the night
That sewed to her some wings of blue
And smothered her in colors hue

I loved these words.

Sy...don't ever let anyone think you are
not a talented poet...They would be lying..
And very jealous...
