My Beloved,

Being apart from you certainly isn’t easy
My heart still aches and my stomach is queasy
I find myself missing you in so many ways
And gentle thoughts of you fill my days
I think of all our time that we were together
and of our life and our toils that we weathered
It seems like just yesterday I saw your smiling face
Your joyous laughter’s gone. Our home’s an empty place
I feel that the world has stopped turning
To be with you is what my soul is yearning
So sweetly, we touched each other’s lives
Death is between us now. I’m filled with sighs

I can hardly go on with this pain.
I’ll eagerly wait until we are one again.

Until then,
All my love….

This is so true. It never is easy to be apart from the one you love.

Yes, to be apart from a love even for a couple of days is hard, but in this case the pain must be immeasureable.  I hope you love comes back to you soon.

Thank you all for commenting. This scenario hasn't happened, yet. But, I would feel this way if I did lose my beloved.

Thanks again

Such a sorrowful piece Melton, yet captures the depth of love and devotion you clearly hold dear to your heart. Beautiful emotion, much enjoyed!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Florence, Kit, Sunset,
Thanks for reading. We often speak on this subject so that we can cope with the inevitable- A letter I hope to avoid for many years.
Thanks again

Melton
