Out there
under the stars,
in the wind
and the sea,
I hear you
calling to me.
Heart so free
that captured me,
I go willingly
to you.
All that you see
and cannot see
of me
I offer to thee.
The whole of me,
floating to you,
over space,
over time,
over distance,
over the wind
and the sea.
For I hear you
calling
to me,
Jaime.

How tender - always listen to the song that your heartstrings plays for that is the purest music there is.

I hear you calling
rather my heart hears the call
and it fills my heart

Kacy, I do believe you have this listening technique down pretty well...and Jaime appears to be a very lucky fellow...

or so I would believe...

Enchantreess, our ears hear the same tunes.

Beautifully done, Kacy...
I could almost hear music with it...
It is almost more like a song than a poem.
Great job!

Lyra, thank you for that reply. I was listening to Kitaro's CD 'Thinking of You'  when I wrote it.

Kathy, you've made such a wonderful move because you listened to your heartsong and not the doubts of other voices. Thanks for reading and replying to this one, sweet friend. And thank you for encouraging me last year to keep writing, and to post here at this site.

LOL, Larry. Yes, more than a little You Who
in this one. Love is in the air...and the wind, and the sea, and the sun and the moon and the stars, and the trees, and the  Rockies....well, guess it's everywhere, even blooming in the desert.

Lauren, thank you. The call of the sea and whispering winds are some of my favorite memories, and when love notes float in the wind, they beckon me to listen and follow  with my heart.
