In the mirror of the night
I look past reflections in my sight
No longer are the familiar faces
they have gone without any traces

What is there is what was before
bits and pieces of spoken lore
What is there is what I see
not a feeling, only a certainty

I step beyond the shimmering veil
into a world of forgotten tale
For there I know what I will see
a pathway and you, waiting for me

Logan, this poem is stunning I read it twice over and both times I get a huge smile on my face as I sigh at that last verse you write cuz truly it is a beauty and my thanx2uPoetFriend for sharing this write with all us here...
