What is it? By Larry Chadwick Like a toast, It’s usually for your health. Like your love, It will bring a smile. Like a prank, It will get a laugh. Like a fake, It can be bad. Like your credit card, You shouldn’t leave home without it. Like a plane, It can get you far. Like a prescription, It can get you high. Like good health, It will prolong your life. Like your children, It can make you nuts. Like bad driving, It can crack you up. Like good food, It can satisfy. Like smooth talking, It might get you by. Like a crutch, It won’t always do. Like a friend, It can help you mend. Like your car, You can’t always depend on it. But just like you, I know it’s always there. |
