I sleep in dreams

My eyes black

A butterfly pressed to glass

I wait for sympathy of

The on looker that held

The tiny dancer in arms of gold

The ships of sea have my

Memories trapped, in jaded ways

Blindly given of faith

I too held eternity

I think of your softness

In quiet times

How the still water drew me in

Now droplets of ancient time

In silence our foot prints

Sketch the shadows

In dust and sand

Where elements

Of life

Haunt the moon

Tomorrow's another day
and I'm thirsty any way
so bring on the rain

yes. . .a walk along the beach of time. . . where the waves dance that eternal ballet. . . and the choreographer is ever seen. . .

I like the flow of this Lauren. . . just like those waves. . . lapping at the shores of my mind. . . and sending me on. . . excellent. . .

Lauren, this one flows and flows, in and out of time and space, as if on a magical carpet ride.

This dripped down the page like candle wax from the wick of mood, and so smooth was its flow.  Lauren, this was stunning work.

Greeneyes - this is an exceptional writing. I like the style, and the flow. I also love the haunting moon. As a matter of fact, this one did inspire me. Thank you..

pleasure to read through... puzzled by the separation of on and looker...that was intentional? Nice imagery!

This is a poem that speaks to my heart.  Very soft and delicate.

Wonderful.
