With a constant need to experience
the challenges of war,
small men lay beneath thick cloud covers,
to die a hundred deaths,
shouting silent curses
and kissing family portraits.

Small men come home to find
they were needed
now resolved to avoid past cravings,
those old familiar highways.
They flew among the sunsets,
born centuries ahead of time
quiet in their ways
kissing no-one.

Now maturing from lover to sage
worldly powers do engage
going away to experience
small men with tall hopes were needed,
only to come home to find
there were challenges of war left behind.

(tears fall down my cheeks) So very sad but true, sweet friend, while we can gain hope through times of war, coming back to re-unite with loved ones can be a whole different war altogether, and grief and sorrow can cause so much confusion. (sigh) My heart goes out to all these veterans and pray they've each healed and are again safe with their families and have high hopes always! (big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martin, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

War efforts have to continue if America has those commitments but it rips hearts to see that even today you have previous war veterans begging for handouts in some major cities. The cost of those efforts, I wonder if we realize how enormous they can be!
