The call I felt came through so clearly
Much like a whisper in my ear
I heard the yearning in your calling
Quick as thought I joined you there

Looked round with dawning wonder
The beauty of this magic place
Then I felt your presence by me
Gazed upon your loving face

Hands met and locked together
As we began to walk along
The sandy beach warm and inviting
The ocean's voice so low and soft

So close to you, shoulders were brushing
No words required, our hearts just one
As if on cue, drawn by desire
We turned to meet, face to face

Held within a four-armed fortress
Pulses skipped and fires raced
Eyes locked with intensity
Lips descended ... almost met...

Then I awake and .... realization
I cry aloud 'Oh God'
Too soon... You can't, not yet ....
Don't end this dream.

Nicely done, Peppermint!  I like the shift in form midway, and the return.  It ties it together so nicely.

(sigh) Soooooooooo gorgeous, sweet friend, I love to dream, and dreaming of love is my favorite dreams of all, and dream that I can wake up and find true love with me. (kiss on cheek) I love it, sweet friend, may this dream forever come true for you and bring you eternal happiness! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lavenia, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

A beautiful dream this is. It is such a shame to have to wake up isn’t it?

Do you usually write in your sleep, Pepper?
If not, you should keep right on doing it.
This was very beautiful.
I loved reading it.

Most of my dreams are sooo wonderful that I wish they were reality! This was such an enjoyable poem!

these are the kind that make you try really hard to go back to sleep thinking that you'll pick up where you left off, but it never happens...

Pepper,
what a delightful penning of a dream, I wish I could dream like you...in fact I wish I could dream at all.
