Night

darkness has filled the heavens
stars are falling into an abyss of clouded sky
dreams beckon the reluctant sleeper,
“Come, come, slumber till the morn
reaches the sands by the sea and desert lands.”

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
