~* for Willow *~

~*~

Missing you hurts the most,
when I see a stormy sea,
swirling and dancing to and fro,
performing just for me.

On the other side of loneliness
That's just the place for me,
so whenever I feel lonely,
I wander down to the sea.

Walking along the path beneath,
branches swaying in the breeze,
whispers in the whistling wind,
caress and bring such peace.

Whispering your name so softly,
as it echoes gently off a cloud,
Sea spray washes away my tears;
as sadness hides in a misty shroud.

Above an opal velvet sky,
moonlight wears a tiara of stars.
The wind whispers a gentle song,
and I remember a time that was ours.

Moonbeams ricochet off the rocks,
in a kaleidoscope of color,
then silence becomes deafening,
as I sit there lonely hour after hour.

I hear your voice in a gust of wind.
I see your reflection in a wave.
A single tear stains my cheek
As it's you in the flesh I crave.

On the other side of loneliness,
there’s peace and serenity for me,
where I can open up my heart,
and send my sorrow out to sea.

Ahh, but on the sending out on the wind, the messages go to Willow, and she smiles that you remember, and whispers back to the wind which returns to you....very gentle smile

Oh Mysteria, this is so sad, and yet so incredibly beautiful. And the picture is gorgeous. Such tender love you have in your heart, where your Willow still resides. I wish you Peace and Happiness, throughout this new year.

In your missing times, we learn more of who there was to love, and come to miss her almost as much as you...but your sharings keep that which was most important of her, her spirit, alive...

so in that, I thank you for taking time to feel...

Sharon, you have so many lovely tributes to your friend. I know she is proud of you. I can only imagine how much this hurts, as I have a close girlfrend, since we were toddlers, and if she was gone,Iwould be devestated.
Peace, and Huggs to you.

I know exactly what you mean.
I have my places too where I sit and remember.

Beautiful poem Sharon, who knows, maybe sometime I'll sit beside you, for I really love the sea.

Sharon, this is so sad and so beautifully written.
I love the perfect imagery you used here

Above an opal velvet sky,
moonlight wears a tiara of stars.
The wind whispers a gentle song,
and I remember a time that was ours.

A perfect tribute to your friend.

If I were asked to discribe true friendship .?. I would have to have them read your poems to your dear friend Willow.. Your whispers of love echoes in the ripples of the oceans currents that  resounds the wonder of your caring heart. You are rich indeed to have had such a friend to love. I'm sure she is smiling down upon you each and everyday. If you still your mind and listen to the wind you will hear her laughter and feel her embrace. See what your artful talent has me do? I get off on a tangent...lol... Keep Willow alive with your poetic gift. Love and peace Maggie ((~.~))

Thank you for being interested, I truly appreciate that.

Flutterwings ~ When they were handing out love you sweetie where right up there with Mother Theresa, and I really appreciate you "coming over" to read this.  A big hug for Shiloh from me Gramma.
