What would my life be without you there?
Would this heart still beat, will I care?
Where would I go, what would life be?
For you are my life, my soul and destiny.

Could I ever write another word of rhyme?
Would my tormented mind find the time?
Shifting sands of love upon a desert dune,
blowing away beneath a saddened moon.

Shards of broken heart fading into the sea
sinking to  depths of despair and insecurity.
Pain in the silence of a love that is once lost.
Stove in from a tragic blow at such a cost.

Love me or leave me, for I cannot share
this bed of love from a hard lonely chair.
For if that is not the choice that you choose
I will say farewell in a song of lover’s blues.

May love and light always shine upon you!

Magnus,
when you write the blues the women cry and the men sigh.
