the falling embers
of a yesterday gone
flatter you into thinking
its all over
hitting your eyes
and leaving you to dust
the past is realised
but much to late

helping your self
when love runs away
turn your eyes
to the new sun
lifting you again
above the rain
the dreams start anew
and then are over

This is beautiful !

My perception of truth will somehow never quite be the same..and so I write.

Even when there is an eclipse,
we still know the sun reigns
behind the darkness...

I enjoyed this.  Thank you.

Very true words you have written here. Done in your typical flawless style.

Love,
Me

It is a blessing to have wings for words and passion in pen.
