Cotton Candy Swirls ~*Marge Tindal*~ Across the sky on dawn of New Year came the fluff that brought her near Wisps of cotton-candy in swirl reminding me of that fair-haired girl~ A tinge of pink is what she wore and if I saw her again I swore I'd tell her of the day I saw her hair-in-flair over sky in sprawl~ Then if she asked me what I knew I'd tell her of a moment so true When out across the sky so blue thoughts of her came drifting through~ *A 'special' penning for SEA~ Thanks for the 'inspire', my friend~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
