Bathing In Moonbeams

Upon the shifting sand we meet
feeling the warmth left by the sun
It’s the closing day with it’s heat
and evenings just begun

Holding hands as we walk along
with soft, warm sand beneath our feet
Our hearts are joined in lovers’ song
blended with waves makes it complete

A gentle kiss that builds the fire
that can’t be cooled from ocean breeze
Bodies embrace as two aspire
with hands and lips of lover’s tease

Our hearts together sharing dreams
the desires our pens write of
A passion that’s bathing in moonbeams
upon the timeless sands of love

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Karen, this one goes straight into my favorites folder. It is beautiful, romantic, and flows like soft waves rolling onto the beach.

What a beautiful, romantic piece of writing!  I loved the soft feel of this and the appeal of love and the sea.  Wonderful images, I enjoyed!

love those walks on the beach-- nice
