Listening to every heart

Lovingly Haunting
Inspired by E. Santos

It is a picture I have
of you in my mind
Lovingly haunting
It will surely find

Me thinking of you
At your desk or such
Penning enchanted words
That only you might touch.

A picture brought of you
Plying romance at its best
Pouring forth your heart
Giving us no less.

Lovingly haunting
As your words may be
For we all look forward
To your penned-sweet poetry.

I see you here,
In my mind's eye
And enjoined to that
A picture of Sy

Who reads your words
And captures your feel
In paint on canvas
So it becomes real

I see your mind
In glory bent
In Sudhir's poems
Of vacations spent,

In Sven's remarks
Of his Knighthood dreams
In Balladeer's quest
To sketch his dreams,

In Claire's portraits
In Christopher's philosophies,
Marge's winged spirit
In our Moth, Janet Marie,

Each stroke of your pen
Touches Helmut and Mark
And Prometheus comes
To see your new spark

Of light as it shines
For each Parker and Kit
And Justbleu is here
To take part in it

As you allow SEA to be
Logan's wind of breeze
On Interloper's haikus
With such intensive ease

I see you in Nan
Two souls of a kind
You've even brought Mysteria to
Tears, in your sweet entwine

You keep Sailors wondering
Why they sail the oceans
Keeping Marsha mushy
With your pennings of devotion

For you are lovingly haunting
As only you can be
And Ms. Santos, Elizabeth,
I curtsey to the art of thee.

Kari darling sister of my soul, this is without doubt one of your utter best.

How amazingly beautiful is this darling girl. And why is this so low on the page? With just one reply. Utterly wonderful writing as always.
YOU really do get better and better

Love and warm stuff

She has inspired many of us with her grace and spirit as both woman and poetess...
she has made many of us strive to be better poets ... we grow in the light of her example.

Thank you for including me in such esteemed company dear poetess Sun.

"Though my soul may sit in darkness,
It will arise in perfect light.
For I have loved the stars much too fondly ...
To be fearful of the night."

Only a few can know how much this poem means to me today, and so I will tell the rest who don't know. This has breathed new life into my day, has surrounded me with friendship more so than a live hand reaching out to touch me, it is a song to my spirit, and today, especially it has uplifted my heart,
Thank you Karilea for all you have done.
Your poem is so beautiful, and you have meantioned names that mean so much to me, and there are many others also.
I am very warme by your gesture
THank you all for your kind replies.
Liz

All I can add to this is my life is so much better for loving both of you as friends.  Elizabeth, I have told you so many times how I admire your poetry, but as a person your spirit, heart, and frienship is a treasure to me.  Breathe my friend, breathe for you are loved!
