Out here among the clouds
Light crosses Jordan
returning always
as a reverie

Woe is the trembling
of my spirit fleeing skyward
where I dangle from crescent moon
selling truth for truth
to those, tired of damned lies

I close my eyes
standing at the crossroads
Left to right
right to left

decisions

Of even the devil himself

Presumably
Being I, I blaze a trail
right down the middle

Bare cleft of heart, unashamed
In this parallel of roads

where I sometimes have to stop
and ask directions
If only there were not so few
and far between

but maybe that is why
I value so
the art of connection

Thank you muse..from the heart.

Well done-- I only wish it were a bit longer....

anytime we can connect with anothers spirit, be it through their words, or by their vision...it is a gift to be grateful for.
this touches place deep ... touches the "traces left behind"....
thank you for that dear poetess Regina.

YAY!!! Sooooooooo wonderfully said, sweet friend, sometimes it is bothering just to ask for directions, so why not follow your own path and destiny? (kiss on cheek) Sooooooo beautiful, sweet friend, may all these lies and questions become answered with the heart and of joy! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Regina, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

There's a spirit that flows through this.  I like it.

Well done.

Lovely insight...goes along with those wise words, "Know thyself"..it takes the most courage to look inward and embrace our own truth! Hugs, Ellie

An interesting piece, thought provoking.
I believe the path chosen is one well traveled these days. But the thought of making the choice with eyes closed is mindbending! In whatever aspect of life your words find truth in us all.
