What words say you peacefully,
To whom, Gloom,
That pauses reflectively,
Too long waiting for reply,
Not too soon,
And you never learn the why,
Just the what, in dark detail,
Dark, indeed,
Dismal is the horrid tale,
Reflective reality,
That does bleed,
Dripping life in poverty,
Glimpses caught by pen and eye.

Gloom

Ah, but a glimpse of one of YOUR poems is worth a thousand of any other.

Gloom,
Is this a self portrait? It doesn't sound like you. Maybe it is something you are not.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
