state of confusion

People Canyons

By themselves,
these decisions
do not weigh so heavily,
it’s your refusal to help
that vexes;
when you know
a  misstep
could have life-long
consequences
for these two lives
we've created.

Unyielding,
your metaphorical back to us,
the distance always evident
now widens into an abyss
of your own making.

If you believe
these children don’t know
a canyon when they see one,
then you truly are blind.

(sigh) Soooooooo well-said, sweet friend, we can all make such mistakes that create such extenuating circumstances that build canyons before our pathes, but no one is blind to them, and if we can work together to love together, we can move them aside and build tunnels on through them! (kiss on cheek) Sooooooo well-said, sweet friend, we all love you so mcuh! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Corrine, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Excellent write, Corinne, excellent.

My perception of truth will somehow never quite be the same..and so I write.

Unyielding...ahh, what a horrible word, for if the reed doesn't bend to the wind, it surely breaks in time...very good write, Cor...very gentle smile

This is a sad poem, Corinne. My I'm-a-male-I've-gotta-fix-this gene is getting stirred up here.  lol

Corinne~
This aches right off the page, sweetie~

Such a chasm is difficult to bridge unless the 'other' party is willing to see themselves falling into the canyon~

*hugs* ... *big HUGS*
This is spectacular emoting~

Oh yes they certainly do see it...and it
does not take long...The children always
feel it deeply...

Your way of saying it was very well done.
