You will always live
hanging by a thread so thin
how should our lives begin again?
low income pantries lies bare,
thinned children stand and glare,
hail the honor for the life you dared.

To the flashing reminders
of how wewere
to help the world that has
but likes to see the suffering.

Contrasted by a the high tech brains
wasted knowledge has no domain
our efforts continuously drain.
When voices squeal for milk bowls
some crane their necks to look at monitors,
others scratch their eyes because of sleeplessness.

Always waving from above,
In our minds you see us bare
while the starving masses make their plea...
All around to see and stare
what a life you dared
how you paid your fare.

Yes, by a thread by of what we live, it could just end at any moment.  This made me think about what I am really doing.  Thanks for sharing!

yes serenity, hypnosis,

sometimes I get the feeling of transient the life I lead is too, yet I was referring to great war efforts in the past how we thought that aftwards comfort would be perrenial and all pervasive.

Peppermint,

much of this came from the ideas behind 'All My Sons'by Arthur Miller..I perform in community theatre, that's why I chose the mask as an icon.
