All Aboard Poetry Lane
~*~

Filling the streets of blue sheets
poetry friends rush to meet
answer one or answer all
it’s a grand ball
dancing on memories
or venting on griefs
reading others is sweet release
lifted high in this place
on wings of others love
there’s peace in the midst of our storms
though so many fill the sheets
of paper and pen
you’ll find a soulfelt friend
so all aboard
take a seat and enjoy the ride

Debra, you are one of the most beautiful poets around here!  All aboard, indeed!

My perception of truth will somehow never quite be the same..and so I write.

Hi Debra,

What a delightful poem and you are so right about these wonderful blue, blue pages of Passions, so full of every sort of feeling under the sun, very much enjoyed.

Hi Debra,

I've used a similar personification, and worked a train or midnight coach express into the poem..lightly though..there's good variety on the site and this piece stands out!
