Be silent,
Stoical stone without word,
No ear bent,
No word sent,
There is nothing to be heard
Without wrong
Without song,
Not even a painful sound,
No crying,
No lying,
Nothing is brought up or down
Be quiet,
No words causing smile or frown.

I found this very thought provoking Professor, and felt it could be read from several different angles. The sadness that silence brings when communication is lacking, or a description of the cold disposition of someone after having words ... and different still, I could feel the relaxation I myself enjoy in the peacefulness of silence itself. I've read this a few times ... each time, something different came to mind. I really enjoyed the depth I felt in this piece, an excellent write!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Thank you, Kit
It is high praise to write something that’s
Readable more than once and still has meaning.

I read it twice and still came up with my love of "silence" and took it as that for me (I loved that idea).  This was a very deep poem, and Kit is right for sure, so many ways to take yours words PF.

I have never heard a poem as beautiful as one about scilence. Its odd how one can say so much about absolutely nothing, no?

Thank you, Mysteria,
Glad you enjoyed.

Thank you, Zukene_Chic,
Some might say that is what I write about best,
Nothing,
Pleased you liked it.
